Jesse Katz is the President and Founder of Fast Break Consultants.  Prior to founding Fast Break Jesse had nearly a 10 year career at Yext (NYSE:YEXT), where he held the title of Vice President of Sales, SMB.  

 

Jesse has over a decade of leadership experience and is an expert at building, scaling and maintaining highly efficient and optimized direct sales organizations.  Jesse’s experience and expertise surrounds all stages of sales organizations from the earliest stage startup to mature and predictable sales machines. Jesse is an expert in GTM strategy, demand generation, sales training and the development and implementation of best in class sales processes.  

 

Jesse’s career started in 2009 as an early employee of Alpha 411 which was then rebranded under the name Yext.  Jesse started in the trenches as a top performing sales associate focusing on Yext’s pay per call business, and soon held the role of Training Manager.  In Late 2010, Jesse was chosen by CEO Howard Lerman and President Brian Distelburger to develop and test the GTM strategy of the earliest version of the soon to be franchise product: Power Listings. 

 

From 2011 through 2012 Jesse was pivotal in the creation and scale of the SMB channel at Yext, growing the channel to 20 sales associates and revenues of over $5 Million during that time period.

 

In 2013 Jesse took over full autonomous control of the SMB Channel and scaled the organization to over 75 total employees and revenues of up to $25 Million.  Jesse was an integral member of the leadership team at Yext during its journey through its successful IPO in April 2017. 

 

Jesse resigned from his position in December 2017 taking the opportunity to travel and pursue his passions of food, photography, infinity pools, spas and poker.  Jesse founded Fast Break Consultants in late 2018 to bring his years of knowledge and expertise to companies ready to drive their sales organizations to the next level.
